Human trafficking is a complex, networked crime. Ending it will take more than awareness. It requires coordinated action.
Law enforcement, prosecutors, intelligence professionals, healthcare and mental health providers, educators, advocates, social services, businesses, faith communities, survivor leaders, families, and communities each bring a vital piece of the solution.

WHO IS SANDY STORM?
I was trafficked for twenty years, beginning when I was a six-year-old kindergarten student.
For decades, I didn't understand that what had happened to me was human trafficking.
In 2009, I started working in the counter-trafficking movement.
Years later, I had a lightbulb moment.
I began connecting the patterns in my own life and recognized what I had not been able to see while I was living it.
Today, I use my lived experience, professional training, and years of counter-trafficking work to help others recognize those patterns and, more importantly, to help build solutions.
